"MEDICAL EQUIPMENT LOAN PROGRAM"


Need a wheelchair, walker or other medical equipment?

With the generous equipment donations from various community members, the Grandview Resource Council Inc. has been able to establish the Medical Equipment Loan Program. This program provides assistive living medical equipment to anyone in need for short periods of time. We offer wheelchairs, commodes, walkers, and more.

CONDITIONS OF RENTAL OR LOAN

  • Equipment Rental or loan is no longer than a 3 month period. After a 3 month period a renewal form for that particular item has to be signed.
  • It is the responsibility of the borrower to see that the equipment is returned to Grandview Resource Council Office cleaned (sanitized) and in good condition.
  • There is no rental charge for the items, but a borrower can make a donation to the Grandview Resource Council Equipment Loan Program.
  • Any damage to equipment is the responsibility of the user.

If you have equipment at home that you don’t know what to do with, the Grandview Resource Council will gladly accept any equipment donations to help community members that have a temporary need such as:

  • You are recovering from an injury or surgery.
  • You want to try the equipment before buying it.
  • You are waiting for insurance coverage approval.
  • You are helping a friend or relative accept the idea of using equipment.
  • You are ill and uncertain about the period of need.
  • You are a visitor to the area who may not be able to transport your own equipment.
